Taking care of yourself is simply essential. That is true whether you are just wanting to feel better, whether you are considering getting involved in suicide prevention, or whether you are a professional working in suicide prevention.
I selected this image to represent balance. Not only are the rocks here carefully placed atop of each other, but there is a balance in terms of color as well. This represents a need to balance the multiple parts of our lives – dimensions of wellness.
This category will include a wide variety of tips and resources to help us take good care of ourselves. I don’t want to just share things that “sound good” though. We’ll be providing information about services and practices that we actually use and have found helpful.
